Privacy

At Phoenix Yoga we take your privacy seriously. We do not share any personal information provided to us with any third parties (unless required to do so by law).
Any email contact information provided may be used to keep you up to date with what is happening at Phoenix Yoga (we use Mailchimp for these purposes). This allows us to provide you with details of term dates, class changes and new events, in particular.  If at any time you no longer wish to receive these updates, you can unsubscribe using the link in the newsletter or email us.
We have always processed your information securely and it will be updated regularly and accurately. The information we ask for and hold is limited to what we need for the legitimate purpose of providing our Yoga related services.

Personal data

Phoenix Yoga collects information in order to help us improve the services we offer.
However, you do not have to provide any personal data other than your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, your preferred emergency contact (if you have one) and your age if you are under 18.
We may ask for further information from you in order to obtain a better understanding of how we can improve our offering to you. It is your choice whether or not to provide any additional information.
You are entitled to request a copy of the personal data we hold for you and a copy will be made available to you within one calendar month of us receiving your request.

Use of website

Phoenix Yoga cannot be held responsible for any loss suffered as a result of your use of this website.
Due to the nature of the internet we are unable to guarantee the security of any information provided online. By using this website you accept you will not hold Phoenix Yoga responsible for any breach of security unless the breach has been caused by our negligence.
The content of this website has been provided for general information purposes only. It is not intended to be comprehensive.  If you choose to act or refrain from acting on the basis of this information it is entirely at your own risk.
This website may have links to external internet sites. These are provided for your convenience only and Phoenix Yoga cannot be held responsible for the content of any external internet sites.
We don't actively use cookies on our website (we're busy Yoga teachers not full time IT or marketing specialists and we’ve discovered that life's really too short to work out what to do with them - there might still be a few lying around but, to be honest, there’s more chance of them being of the chocolate chip variety!).  Our website is created using Squarespace's website builder.  You can read more about their privacy policy at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy/

Before undertaking any exercise programme you should discuss your suitability with your yoga teacher and/or a medical professional.

Bookings policies

We believe in having a clear, simple to understand booking policies to help avoid confusion and to form clear boundaries. Below we have listed our booking policies for when you book yoga classes, workshops, 1-2-1 sessions, Yoga weekends or events. Please make sure that you are happy with our policies before you make your booking.

For group class term bookings

   - Group class term bookings are always non-refundable and non-transferable.  
   - No bookings can be confirmed until payment has been received.
   - Any group class bookings not cancelled by you at least 12 hours in advance of the scheduled class start time will be forfeited.
   - If we are notified that you wish to cancel your booked space in a group class at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled start time for the class it MAY be possible to make the session up at a different group class in the same term. If you have booked an in person class you may attend an online class instead but if you have booked an online class you will not be able to switch to an in person alternative. In addition, you may only switch to a class of the same or shorter duration as your original booking. All class switches are subject to space and cannot be guaranteed.
- In the event we have to cancel a class for any reason, we will offer an opportunity to make the session up at a different class or via one of our live online classes in the same term. In the event that you are unable to attend one of the offered replacement classes we will provide access to a pre-recorded alternative class for 7 days. 
   - Any classes not used by the end of the term cannot be carried forward to future terms and will be forfeited.

For weekly short courses

   - All bookings are final. They are non-refundable and non-transferable.  
   - No bookings can be confirmed until payment has been received.
   - In the event we have to cancel a class for any reason, we will offer an opportunity to attend the class on an alternative date.   In the event, you are unable to attend the offered replacement class we will provide access to a pre-recorded alternative class for 7 days.  
- Any classes not used by the end of the course cannot be carried forward to future courses and will be forfeited.

For drop in bookings

   - All drop in bookings are final. They are non-refundable and non-transferable.  
   - No bookings can be confirmed until payment has been received.
   - In the event we have to cancel a class for any reason, we will offer an opportunity to make the session up at a different class or via one of our live online classes in the same term.  In the event that you are unable to attend one of the offered replacement classes we will provide access to a pre-recorded alternative class for 7 days.  

Group classes timetable changes

We reserve the right to make schedule changes or cancel classes where necessary.

For workshops

   - All workshop bookings are final. They are non-refundable and non-transferable.  
   - No bookings can be confirmed until payment has been received.
   - In the event we have to cancel a workshop for any reason, we will offer an opportunity to attend the workshop on an alternative date.  
 
Yoga weekends and events

   - The cancellation policy applicable to Yoga Weekend and event bookings will be as set out on our booking form for that weekend/event.  If you have not already received a copy of this form, please ask us for one and make sure that you are happy with its terms before making your booking.

Yoga training courses (60 hours online)

   - The terms and conditions applicable to our Yoga training courses will be as set out in our learner agreement for that course.  If you have not already received a copy of this form, please ask us for one and make sure that you are happy with its terms before making your booking.
 
1-2-1 Appointments
 
   - 1-2-1 appointment fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.  
   - No bookings can be confirmed until payment has been received.
   - If you wish to alter your appointment and can give us 24 hours notice the session may be rebooked at a different time and/or date subject to availability. 
   - If you give less than 24 hours notice of your cancellation, the appointment will be forfeited and you will be charged the full cost of your appointment.
